Privacy Policy

When you create a VibeCast account we collect your email address and a username. As you use the app we store the content you create: your watchlist, episode progress, ratings, room messages, and preferences (your “taste profile”).

You can browse VibeCast as a guest without creating an account.

Your data is used only to run the app: signing you in, saving your watchlist and progress across devices, and personalizing recommendations from the AI Host. Your mood prompts are processed by an AI service to generate recommendations and are not used to identify you.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We show no ads.

Account data is stored with our backend providers (Supabase and Railway) in the United States. Movie and TV metadata comes from the TMDB API; live TV schedules from TVmaze. Neither receives your personal data.

You can export your watchlist at any time from your profile. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at jusrich718@gmail.com — deletion is completed within 30 days.

VibeCast is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
